We invite you to embark on a delightful journey to Elbe, WA, where we'll ride the Mount Rainier scenic railroad and enjoy lunch in a caboose at the Hobo Inn, part of the Mount Rainier Railroad Dining Company.

12-mile round-trip ride on a historic steam train
1 hour and 15 minutes of breathtaking scenery, including views of Mount Rainier

Conveniently located Hobo Inn right next to the train depot

About the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad
Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad is entering its third year back in operation, carrying forward a century old Northwest tradition. What began in the 1980s and 90s as a celebration of steam railroading has grown into something deeper — a way to reconnect with the people, places, and work that shaped our region.
Step aboard and take a ride through history, pulled by a vintage steam locomotive through forests, farmland, and foothills rich with stories of resilience and ingenuity. Every mile of restored track and every whistle echo reminds us of the generations who were effected by westward expansion, built, logged, maintained, and lived along these rails.
